The ERTL Company first made the Model No. 404 in 1971.  This pedal tractor came with a metal seat and a metal steering wheel.  This tractor is referred to as the 66 series, or 1066.

In 1983 ERTL made the 86 series, or the 1086.  This pedal tractor came with a black plastic seat and black plastic steering wheel.  

They are both the same casting.  Only the seat, steering wheel and decals are different.
